H1N1
– 2nd Vaccine
Recommended
If
you have children 10 years old and younger that in order to be fully
immunized against H1N1, 2 shots are required. If the child has
received first shot and not second shot, go get second
shot. It is not too late to get the H1N1 vaccine so if you
or your child has not received any immunizations yet, I encourage you
to be vaccinated! The vaccine is now available to everyone and
can be obtained from most health care providers, urgent care centers
and pharmacies. Call to make appointments. If you do not
have insurance or insurance does not pay, the charge is only $10 to $15
dollars. The government is providing the vaccine for free and the
charge is only for administrative fees.
Even
though the occurrence of H1N1 has greatly reduced from previous weeks,
it is expected to return in the spring or it could return in future
years. I encourage you all to consider getting the vaccine.
