•  1986 - 1990 Taught 8 th grade four years at an inner city school in Aldine, TX

•  1990 - 1994 Taught 8 th grade at Lewisville Middle School

•  1994 - 1998 Taught 8 th grade at Maple Grove Middle School

•  1998 - Present Taught 8 th grade Laurin Middle School

•  Personal -- I have been married for 34 years to my best friend, Tim. Together we have enjoyed raising three great kids. Kevin, 32, presently living and working in Amarillo, TX; Kristan, 28, a firefighter paramedic at District 6 in Vancouver, and Ryan, 22, a May graduate of Washington State University. Our daughter, Kristan is married to Jason, also a firefighter for Tualatin Valley in Oregon. Our greatest family joy is our 1 st and only grandchild, so far, 17 month old, Aidan.

•  The biggest events in our family life this year were Ryan's graduation from college – the last of our three children to graduate from college.

•  Biggest upcoming event – Our son Kevin's wedding to Kara in Amarillo, TX at the end of September. We can't wait!

•  Best Things to Do - Baby-sit my grandbaby, Aidan; spend time with family andfriends; teach and spend time with kids; go boating; travel; shop; water aerobics;read everything; volunteer work by visiting homebound or hospice patients

- There has never been an age that my children and yours haven't taught me newthings, made me laugh, opened my eyes and mind, softened my heart, and filledmy life with chaotic joy. This is the REAL reason I'm a teacher.
