Hi, I am a 7th grade Language Arts teacher here at Laurin.  I have been teaching since 1996 when I received my  teaching credential from San Diego State University.  Prior to becoming a middle school teacher, I taught first, fourth and fifth  grade  in San Diego, California.  I moved to Washington in the summer of 2004 and really enjoy living here.  Some of the things I enjoy doing when I am not at school are reading, going to coffe shops, cooking, and spending time with my family.
