I started teaching at Lewisville Middle School in the late 70’s. In 1990, I took a position, still in the Battle Ground District as 7th and 8th grade highly capable teacher. After a double levy failure, I took an 8th grade position at Maple Grove Middle . Over the years I have taught mostly history, language arts and math.
My hobbies include, flyfishing, hunting, golfing and camping. I also enjoy water-skiing, cross country skiing and hiking. In the spring and summer I spend a great deal of time raising a large garden.
Another interest of mine is traveling. I have traveled all over the United States, to Canada many times and to Mexico several times. Recently I spent a month in Europe; mostly in England, France and Italy.
As the Assistant Principal at Laurin, I am very impressed with the students and staff. It’s a great place to be!
