I grew up in a Navy family and have lived all over the country.
My middle school years were spent in Saudi Arabia and Hawaii!
I graduated from UC San Diego in 1990 with Bachelor degrees in
History and Sociology and a minor in Literature. I then went on
to San Diego State for my teaching credential. My teaching career
began in 1991 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Other districts that I have
taught in include Forest Grove, OR, Evergreen, Ridgefield, and
now Battle Ground! I continued my education in Special Education
and Reading.
Life at home is very busy with my 5 kids! You might even see
us at the YMCA. I love to dance, listen to great music, work out,
garden, and read. I have a wonderful family and fantastic friends
that I share my life with.
I love spending
my days in such a caring community. Let’s have a fun year!!
