Interested: Lincoln Logs, giant legos, alphabet
blocks, floor puzzles, giant cardboard blocks, Zolos, baby books
Computer Lab: 10 computers, 1 printer, Internet access, large variety of software
Microwave and fridge come in
handy.
Environment Issues: Suggest look spacious, inviting, nice
furniture if can afford it. Good
climate control, easy access to public.
Staff Issues: Should be approachable, welcoming,
knowledgeable, interested, helpful, and have pride of ownership. Security is an
issue, and you should have two adults on site. If stretched for $, or low attendance, one adult, if there
is a janitor on site, could be enough.
Funding Issues: I would encourage anyone starting a
similar project to seek collaborative financing.
